But exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from sunlight or tanning lamps and beds increases the risk of developing melanoma. Limiting your exposure to UV radiation may help reduce your risk of melanoma.
How to recognize melanoma cancer
Doctors say that melanoma is a type of skin cancer. It is usually identified by having a mole. Melanoma can occur anywhere in the body. Mole abnormality, change in color, large size mole, change in skin are symptoms of melanoma cancer. If any such symptom is visible on the body, then there is a need to see the doctor immediately. In common parlance, it is known as mole cancer.
